The Adventures of Not Me

To most every household on this planet green,
Comes a strange sort of creature who seldom is seen.

He makes lots of trouble, he takes all the blame.
I’m sure you’ve heard of him, Not Me is his name.

This strange creature comes from a land far away.
What have you noticed him doing today?

He’s easy to blame when we know we’ve done wrong
So we give him the blame ’cause we’re not feeling strong.

His world takes a hit with each person who lies
And the life force that feeds it quite slowly dies.

The way that we save it is to own what we do
And to always respond in a way that is true.
